Landscape Laborer

Job Duties:   Mowing, weed trimming, and raking or clean-up of leaves with blowers. Also, installation, pruning, and trimming of plants, trees, and shrubs. Placing and tilling dirt, mulch, compost, and sod. General landscape labor using landscape equipment for landscape installation and maintenance. Loading and unloading of materials and equipment. Lifting required up to 50 pounds. Work performed on local area jobsites with employer provided transportation to and from the jobsites from a centralized pickup location in the specified area of employment.

 

No experience required. On the job training. No education required.

$18.91/hr., $28.37 O.T. Employer will offer 40 hours/wk. of work w/1/2 hour of lunch each workday, 7:30a.m. – 4:00p.m., M-F, Some O.T. and weekends may be available, but are not guaranteed.

6 positions available for temporary, full-time, peak-load work.

Dates of Employment Offered: 03/20/2026- 11/15/2026.

Jobsites located in: Cuyahoga County. Employer provided transportation to and from area jobsites from a centralized pickup location in the specified area of employment.

The employer will use a single workweek for computing wages due. Pay will be weekly.

Assistance securing lodging is available. Optional employer provided lodging available $400/mthly for rent and utilities $100/wk. to be deducted from their pay checks. Optional $100 loan out of their checks if needed for housing and food when they first arrive. If selected optional loan payback period starts May 1st last day is June 15th  for relocating workers only.

 

Other benefits provided to U.S. and H2B workers are the following: Optional performance-based bonus for end of season is available up to $200. Company provides up to 5 free shirts. Optional help with small amounts of food for relocating workers only.

The employer will make all deductions required by law from each paycheck.

If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts.

H2B workers will be reimbursed by check for visa and related fees in the first workweek.

The employer will provide, without charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job duties.

The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least ¾ of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
