Description
Location: Brecksville, Garfield Heights, Mayfield Village, Bedford, Cleveland (West Side), Parma, and Valley View.
FLSA: Nonexempt
Shift: Generally evenings, with shifts typically lasting 3-5 hours. Specific start and end times vary by location.
* Must have the ability to reliably commute to multiple locations within a designated shift.
The Custodian will be responsible for performing general office and facility cleaning duties, including but not limited to:
Vacuuming, dusting and damp mopping of floors.
Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs and office space.
Clean, dust, and disinfect surfaces, including water fountains and sinks.
Empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers and handle recycling materials.
Sweeps, mops, scrubs and sanitizes bathrooms.
Light kitchen cleaning.
Operate a power vacuum.
Must select proper chemicals, control dilution ratios and use proper techniques for the area cleaned.
Follow all manufacturers recommendations for use of all cleaning solutions.
Follow the daily job routine in the order it is outlined.
Use the correct step-by-step procedures for each cleaning task.
Follow all safety procedures when operating equipment.
Ensure a level of cleanliness which meets the quality expectations of the customer.
Regular attendance.
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a positive manner that gets along with customers, vendors, program participants, co-workers and supervisors.
Responsible for following agency safety policies and maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications
Previous custodial experience preferred.
This employee is required to work on holidays that fall on their regularly scheduled days.
Must have reliable transportation to travel between multiple sites during assigned shift.
