Preventative Maintenance Technician

The Preventative Maintenance Technician will travel to our customers to perform semi-annual and/or annual preventative maintenance. Strong interpersonal communication skills are necessary. This position requires a mechanical aptitude, experience reviewing mechanical/electrical schematics, and an investigative mindset with the ability to accurately report findings.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site maintenance services to our customers 5-axis Grob equipment
- Document your findings and corrective actions to present to the customer
- Communicate what you are finding in real time with the Grob customer support team
- Troubleshoot machine errors
- Read and follow mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical prints/drawing
- Utilize precision measuring instruments (such as calipers, levels, indicators, micrometers, etc.)
- Other tasks as assigned
Education & Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma minimum
- Understanding of drawings, schematics and troubleshooting
- NC programming experience is a plus
- Previous CNC machining or machine building experience preferred
General Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong math skills and understanding of mechanics
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
- Willing to work overtime as needed
- Willing to travel domestic and international
