Job Title: Data Engineer

Job Location: Cincinnati, OH (Onsite)

Job Pay Range: $34/hr-$36/hr

Contract Length: 12 Months

 

About the Role

I’m looking for a Data Engineer to join a Data Enablement / MLOps-focused team. This role centers on accelerating model development by delivering clean, reliable, production-ready data to data scientists and analytics partners. You’ll work with modern tooling, integrate new data sources, engineer features, and streamline the modeling pipeline to support faster experimentation and deployment.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, build, test, and maintain scalable data management systems
  • Clean, transform, and prepare datasets for modeling and analytics
  • Develop high‑performance algorithms, prototypes, and data workflows
  • Ensure data systems align with business requirements and industry best practices
  • Integrate emerging data engineering and MLOps technologies into existing environments
  • Establish processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production
  • Build custom components, tools, and analytics applications
  • Explore new opportunities for leveraging existing data assets
  • Use a variety of languages and tools to connect and optimize systems
  • Collaborate closely with data scientists, data architects, and engineering teams
  • Maintain and update disaster recovery procedures
  • Recommend improvements to enhance data quality, reliability, and accessibility

Required Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in SQL
  • Understanding of relational database concepts
  • Experience cleaning, transforming, and preparing data

  • Technical degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience with relational and non‑relational databases (e.g., SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, MongoDB)
