Job Description

As an RDMO (Recipe Data Management Organization) Engineer, you evaluate PPG Automotive Coatings formulas in the Oracle R12 enterprise system for compliance with established manufacturing standards. This process will require cross function collaboration with PPG technical, quality, operations, supply chain, and engineering teams in the PPG Cleveland facility. You will additionally monitor recipe development data integrity through Oracle Business intelligence health checks and custom reports.You will report to the Lead Operations Engineer and be based out of the Cleveland facility.

Main Responsibilities:

Review formula revision requests daily ensuring accurate formula, recipe, and routing structure through use of a Process Engineering formula templates and tools.
Maintain recipe process control system formula updates for designated cost centers.
Utilize the CAIR quality system to manage workflow process for formula revisions and document relevant changes.
Collaborate with multiple departments for continuous improvement opportunities related to the Recipe Development area of Oracle R12 and process engineering.
Understand chemical and manufacturing principles of coating production relating to process engineering and Oracle related processes.
Collaborate with IT teams to enter Infra and Enhancement requests for systems improvement.
Create and run Oracle Business Intelligence reports for data acquisition and analysis.
Action on Oracle Business Intelligence report Health Checks for data maintenance of Recipe Development processes

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, or a related technical discipline
3+ years of experience in technical or manufacturing environment.
Prior experience with Oracle R12 ERP system is required.
Prior experience with Oracle Business Intelligence is preferred.
Prior experience in a chemical coating's facility is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills are required.
Must be comfortable working in a hybrid 3 day in person or full time in person format and able to collaborate virtually with stakeholders.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general knowledge of computers is required with a high aptitude for learning and utilizing new computer applications.
