Job Description

MTSI is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented RF Test & Evaluation Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing, verifying, and validating the performance of our cutting-edge radio frequency (RF) systems and components in support of acquisition milestones and operational readiness. The ideal candidate will bring experience with ground systems, test planning, lab environments, and mission systems integration within a classified program setting. This role is critical to ensuring our products meet rigorous quality standards and performance specifications in support of critical Department of War (DoW) missions.

Responsibilities

Develop, document, and execute comprehensive RF/EW test plans and procedures for components, sub-systems, and full systems.
Support integration testing of RF/EW system interfaces
Develop test plans, procedures, and data collection strategies in alignment with system requirements.
Coordinate with systems engineers, developers, and cybersecurity teams to validate performance, security, and interoperability.
Conduct lab-based testing and provide technical support during field events and
deployment assessments.
Document test results, analyze anomalies, and assist in developing corrective
actions.
Generate clear and concise test reports, document findings, and present results to the engineering and program management teams.
Support milestone reviews, readiness assessments, and acquisition documentation development.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer
Engineering, or 10+ years of experience in RF systems integration, testing, or requirement validation.
Experience with test planning, execution, and reporting in DoD or classified
program environments.
Familiarity with tactical RF systems functions and integration challenges
Strong understanding of test processes across development, integration, and
operational phases.
Experience with lab, ground, open-air, and flight testing of RF/EW systems
Ability to TDY up to 20%
Must possess an active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI.

Desired

Experience with MOSA best practices and Open System Architecture integration
Background in digital engineering, MBSE, or test automation tools.
Experience supporting AFLCMC or platform PMOs.
Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, DAU T&E Level II/III).
