Job Description

AsProcessEngineer in the Cleveland facility, youareresponsible forproviding engineering support to production processes within the plant.Yourresponsibility takes on many forms and requires interaction with a multitude of different departments including technical, maintenance, planning, QA, RM procurement, andIT.You will havesome interaction with the operators and supervisors in each building to help define,initiate, and implement projects that improve the overall process from a safety, ergonomic, quality, and/or productivity standpoint.You will report to the Lead Operations Engineer and be based out of the Cleveland Facility.

Responsibilities:

Support Departmental EHS Initiatives (CORITY, PSM, Audits, etc.)

Perform Process Optimization/Cycle Time Improvements

Participate in and Support Department Related Kaizen Events

TroubleshootEquipment/Process Issues - willlikely involvesome evening or weekend phone support

Execute/Improve Root Cause Investigation Process & Implement Meaningful Corrective Actions

Formula Maintenance

Develop Standard Work and Assist with Operator Training

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Chemicalor MechanicalEngineering.

This position requires a broadunderstanding of engineering systems and chemical processes along with3or more years' experience in various positions, with focus on manufacturing processes, batch paint processing experience preferred.

Candidatemustdemonstratea high degree of attention to detail and managing complexity.

Working knowledge of pumps, mills, rotational equipment,piping as wellasmaterial movement desired.

Experience ininitiatinginvestigations and implementing corrective actions.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge of industry regulatory requirements, including EH&S requirements/responsibilities such asPSMa plus.

Lean/6 sigma and Toyota manufacturing principles experience a plus.
