Responsibilities
- Assist in image-guided procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, biopsies, and catheter insertions.
- Operate and adjust fluoroscopic, ultrasound, and CT imaging equipment for optimal visualization.
- Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort, sterile technique, and procedural accuracy.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and provide necessary support throughout procedures.
- Maintain strict infection-control protocols and adhere to radiation-safety standards.
- Document all procedures and patient information accurately in compliance with HIPAA.
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Adapt quickly to different facility workflows and contribute positively to each healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Current ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (VI) or (CV) preferred (state licensure where applicable).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology.
- Comprehensive knowledge of vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures.
- Proficiency in radiation-safety practices and sterile technique.
- Ability to thrive in high-stress, fast-paced environments with excellent critical-thinking skills.
- Willingness and ability to accept travel assignments across multiple facilities.
