Position Responsibilities:
- Provide support and education regarding fetal, infant and toddler development, and parenting skills using a research-based model and curriculum.
- Develop and implement individualized and developmentally appropriate plans for each child and family that meets program standards and the family’s needs. This includes assessing the family’s overall strengths and needs, while making appropriate community referrals as necessary.
- Complete assessments and screenings to aid in working with the families and identifying their strengths/needs.
- Complete official case notes/documentation.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Child & Family Studies, Human Services, Psychology, Early Childhood Education, or closely related field preferred
- A valid driver’s license, vehicle, and insurable driving record
- An ability to work independently and create your own schedule- utilizing flexible working hours and the possibility of working from home at times.
- Experience in working with or providing services to children and families *Community/ In home experience a plus.*
- Willing to engage in building reflective capacity (e.g., capacity for introspection, communicating awareness of self in relation to others, recognizing the value of supervision, etc.)
- An ability to demonstrate a high attention to detail and good follow-up skills
