MIG Welder – Steel Fabrication (Full-Time)
Location: 182 Scio Rd. S.E. Carrollton, Ohio 44615
Pay Range: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour (based on experience)
JOMAC, Ltd is the premier builder of custom truck bodies and equipment in the United States. We specialize in steel and aluminum truck bodies, truck-mounted cranes, and custom fabrications. We’re looking for a skilled Steel MIG Welder to join our growing team and help us build heavy-duty equipment in a clean, friendly shop environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding on steel components (primarily flat, some vertical welds).
- Lay out, position, and secure parts according to basic blueprints and shop drawings.
- Use power tools (circular saw, band saw, air impacts, air/electric drills, grinders).
- Use hand tools and measuring tools with precision.
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Ensure weld quality meets industry and company standards.
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of MIG welding experience (steel fabrication preferred).
- Strong tape measurement and blueprint reading skills.
- Proficiency with both power and hand tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Commitment to safety, accuracy, and quality workmanship.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive hourly pay: $20.00 – $25.00, based on experience.
