We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Addiction Recovery Technician to join our behavioral health team. Duties

• Monitor and document clients' records
• Observe and report any irregularities to healthcare professionals
• Provide crisis intervention and crisis management to de-escalate situations effectively
• Assist in medication administration and ensure proper documentation of medical records
• Engage in social work activities such as patient care planning and family support
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations during all interactions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans Qualifications
• Knowledge of crisis intervention, crisis management, and behavior management techniques
• Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation, vital signs monitoring, and medication administration
• Background in addiction counseling, or social work is advantageous
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle sensitive situations professionally
• Prior experience working within HIPAA guidelines and maintaining medical records accurately is preferred
• Compassionate attitude with a commitment to patient-centered care and recovery support

Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED required, with preference given to those with an associate's degree in human services or related field.

Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record and current vehicle insurance
