CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Civil Aviation Engineer to join our Aviation Team in Columbus, OH, where you'll support the planning, design, and enhancement of airside and landside facilities that keep airports operating safely and efficiently. This is your chance to make a meaningful impact on critical aviation infrastructure while growing alongside seasoned experts.


What You'll Do:




Assist in the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions for aviation projects, including airside and landside infrastructure
Support senior engineers in preparing technical reports, contract documents, and cost estimates
Perform calculations and design tasks using industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and industry best practices
Join field assignments with senior staff to gain hands-on experience in aviation design, evaluation, and inspection


What You Bring:




Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required
No experience required; however prior internships and/or relevant coursework are preferred
Civil aviation experience preferred
Construction administration services experience preferred
Strong theoretical foundation and familiarity with engineering software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a collaborative team
Participation in professional engineering society/organization preferred
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred

Salary Range:




$75,000 - $83,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
