General Summary:
Provide basic cleaning work in production and office areas of the Injection Molding facility ensuring they are kept in a clean and professional looking appearance. Perform related work as required. Support Injection Molding Department as needed.
Responsibilities:
Maintaining cardboard recycling program.
Clean and maintain offices and all break room and bathroom areas
Facility painting.
Clean and maintain clean windows.
Garbage collection.
Recycle collection of cardboard and other recyclables.
Maintaining and stocking of custodial supplies.
Work in a safety conscious manner
Watch for and report/repair safety hazards
Report needs for maintenance and supplies
Attend all mandatory company meetings and safety education sessions
Maintain a positive attitude with co-workers and employer
Perform any other duties as assigned
Education and Skill Requirements:
High School Education and/or GED preferred
Skill in the use and care of tools and equipment necessary to the work
Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instruction.
Ability to get along with fellow associates, supervisors, and management.
Sufficient strength, agility, and dexterity to perform all required tasks.
Effective oral and written communication.
Ability to operate standard equipment used in janitorial work.
Physical Demand:
Walking, standing, bending, stooping, twisting, turning and/or pushing or pulling up to 45 lbs.
Must be able to lift or move objects up to 40lbs
Dumping of heavy trash receptacles.
Must be able to climb equipment, ladders and steep stairs
