Position Summary

The Grinder plays a critical role in ensuring Hollaender Manufacturing produces high-quality, defect-free products delivered on time to our customers. With more than 75 years of American-made experience and superior manufacturing technology, Hollaender Manufacturing produces some of the most reliable, durable, and high-quality hand railing systems in the industry—and this role is essential to maintaining that standard of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Company-Wide Expectations

Treat all associates with respect and professionalism

Perform all work in accordance with company policies, safety standards, and government regulations

Consistently meet production requirements and commitments

Position-Specific Duties

Manually grind aluminum castings using a belt grinder

Remove all parting lines and gate connections to ensure smooth, finished parts

Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Follow all safety procedures and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE)

Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED preferred

Experience: No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

Stand and/or walk for up to 100% of the shift

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Perform frequent, repetitive hand and arm movements

Work in areas with elevated noise levels

Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
