Utilize CAE tools to execute analysis for assigned specification setting and requirement confirmation activities. Collaborate with test and part design engineers to optimize specifications for performance, cost, and weight. Create documentation for specification and confirmation results and explain to direct supervisor.

Minimum requirements: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering; 2 years of experience working in automotive engineering; 2 years of experience with FE Modeling software creating FEA models of power unit and chassis parts and systems; 2 years of experience with Static and Dynamic Linear Analysis Software simulating Power Unit and Chassis systems, comparing performance against targets, and evaluating counter measures to improve performance; 2 years of experience with Python, and Excel creating and maintaining scripts to aid in conducting simulations and post processing data; and 2 years of experience with Microsoft Power Point creating engineering reports to explain results and recommendations to Technical Leaders and designers.
