Job Summary:
GI Physicians is seeking a Full-Time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team in Lima, Ohio. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and patient-focused, with the ability to manage both clinical and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced medical office.
Responsibilities:
- Refill patient medications in accordance with provider instructions
- Complete prior authorizations for medications and procedures
- Accurately record patient medical histories
- Take and document patient vital signs
- Schedule patient appointments and procedures
- Process referrals to specialists and other facilities
- Manage daily office operations and patient flow
- Provide support to providers and ensure efficient clinic workflow
- Maintain professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail at all times
