Job Description
Your Role as the Consumer Relations Representative
Support consumers across all relevant channels (phone, email, social) regarding all products & brands across the Smucker portfolio. Gain experience in supporting our Social Media team with administration and consumer communication initiatives.
Location: Working Remote U.S.A.
Work Arrangements: remote
In this role you will:
Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of company brands and products to best assist consumers by clarifying issues; offering answers and resolving complaints and escalating unresolved issues.
Regularly review work to ensure high quality care and accuracy to support our consumers and the business.
Support social team administrative tasks as needed.
What we are looking for:
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or related field
1+ year prior consumer relations or customer service experience
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, as well as active listening skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills and conflict resolution abilities
Ability to balance consumers' needs and company requirements in a professional and courteous manner
Must be able to work within the hours of operation (Monday through Friday 8AM-5PM with extended hours, as necessary)
Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role:
Previous experience supporting consumer/customer engagement socially and/or having prior experience with general social media moderation
Bilingual skills (Spanish and/or French)
