Job Description

Position Purpose:

Support the design, test, evaluation, manufacture and procurement of components for the New Product Development Team.

Essential Functions:


* Provide design/drafting support for new product layouts, concept generation, prototype evaluation and production releases using Creo 3.
* Develop Power Point presentations for project design reviews.
* Write Product Evaluation Requests for project testing
* Write Prototype Build Requests
* Write Engineering Change Requests
* Complete Engineering Change Notice documents
* All other duties as assigned

Education and Training


* Enrolled student working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0
* Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.

Physical Demands.


* Frequent sitting, work at a computer for extended periods of time
Environmental Conditions


* Office setting

Behavioral Traits


* Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong PC Skills (spreadsheets, database management, word processing) and proficiency in a CAD software are a must.
* Strong numeric and analytical skills.
* Self-motivated with good project management, organization and planning skills.
