We are currently seeking an experienced Structural Bridge Engineer - Project Manager to support and grow our Transportation Practice in our Dayton, Ohio office.

Annual Compensation: $95,000 - 185,000 based upon experience, certifications, and regional market standards.

BRIDGE ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


* Responsible for management, scope, fees, and the profitability of individual projects and project portfolio.
* Point person and firm's contact with clients while functioning as project manager.
* Assists in new sales with clients for which they are managing projects.
* Guides and coordinates internal LJB transportation disciplines with sub-consultants and clients.
* Experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
* Possesses an understanding of all transportation disciplines and requirements as related to bridge design projects.
* Responsible for assisting Deputy Operations Manager in maintaining PM best practices.
* On larger projects, may or may not be involved directly in the design.
* Apprise Operations Management of employee performance on projects.
* Provide information to Deputy Operations Manager on future projects so they can manage staffing.
* Assist in informal development of other employees.
* Other duties as assigned.

BRIDGE ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER ESSENTIAL CREDENTIALS:

Education:


* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field required; M.S. degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
* P.E. license required.
* Certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) a plus.

Qualifications:


* At least 10 years of experience in consulting or engineering.
* Experience working with DOTs required.
* Project team leadership experience.
* Project and client management experience.
* Strong presentation and interpersonal communications skills.
* Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills required.
* MicroStation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD, and Civil-3D software experience is preferred.
