The Wayne County Schools Career Center is accepting applications for the position of:
Adult Education Supervisor

SALARY: Per the Board of Education approved salary pay scale
REPORTS TO: Lynette K. Boggs, Director of Operations
WORK WEEK/YEAR: As per board-adopted calendar
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be certified by the State of Ohio, Department of Education and Workforce as a Principal or Administrative
- BCT and FBT criminal records results less than one-year old must be submitted prior to initial employment and as required
- Demonstrated ability to manage day-to-day operations of educational or adult education programs, including compliance and
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to adult education programs and
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, act ethically, and represent the district professionally with staff, students, and the
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior leadership experience specifically in adult education, career training, or workforce development
- Experience developing, monitoring, and managing program budgets and conducting cost
- Proven success with identifying, applying for, administering, and reporting on federal, state, or local
- Demonstrated experience supervising, evaluating, hiring, and onboarding instructional and support
- Experience collaborating with businesses, community agencies, colleges, and workforce partners to align programs with local
- Experience establishing, evaluating, and improving educational programs, including curriculum development, instructional observation, and student support services.
