Summary
The Campaign Director leads the coordination, planning, and execution of Bowling Green State University's next comprehensive fundraising campaign. Reporting to and working closely with the Vice President for University Advancement/President & CEO of the BGSU Foundation, Inc., the position manages campaign operations, governance, and communications while ensuring alignment among University leadership, colleges, units and University Advancement. The Campaign Director serves as liaison to the internal and external campaign committees and oversees campaign planning, timelines, reporting, volunteer engagement, and events to advance institutional fundraising priorities and support the University's strategic goals.
Essential Functions
• Leads planning and execution of the University's comprehensive fundraising campaign, ensuring alignment among University leadership, colleges, and Advancement.
• Manages campaign operations and governance, including internal and external committees, reporting, and leadership support.
• Collaborates with University Advancement and other University partners to integrate campaign goals, messaging, and priorities.
• Oversees campaign data and reporting with Advancement Services to track progress and inform strategy.
• Coordinates campaign communications and events to engage donors, volunteers, and campus stakeholders.
• Manages campaign budgets, timelines, and administrative processes to ensure efficiency and accountability.

Minimum Qualifications
The following Degree is required:
• Bachelor's degree
The following Experience is required:
• 3 years of experience in fundraising, advancement, campaign coordination, project management, or related administrative leadership roles
Additional Information
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Knowledge in communications, marketing, business administration or a related discipline may be beneficial.
• Organizational, project management, and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholders in a complex environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to collaborate across departments and work effectively with senior leadership, volunteers, and external partners
• Proficiency in data tracking, reporting, and CRM systems
• Experience in higher education (especially in advancement), fundraising, marketing, or large-scale project coordination is preferred
