Position Purpose:

In this position the intern/co-op will be exposed to a variety of Finance/Accounting functions at a manufacturing plant level.

Essential Functions:


* Accounts Payable - Assist with processing incoming supplier invoices, coding, & entering.
* Accounts Receivable - Assist with daily customer invoicing & cash application.
* Fixed Asset Physical Inventory - Assist with on-going physical inventory of the fixed assets.
* Implement document storage requirements to meet disposal dates as laid out in finance manual record retention policy.
* Update federal ID numbers, remittance addresses, and tax classifications in the Supplier Master
* Other projects as assigned.

Education and Training


* Enrolled student working towards a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.

Minimum Qualifications


* Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0
* Ability to manage multiple projects and strong planning skills.
* Ability to meet and communicate with employees in a one on one and group setting.
* Self-motivated and willing to learn.
* Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) is a must.
* Effective verbal and written skills mandatory.
* Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills required.

* Must be able to remain in a stationary position frequently.
* Minimally need to move about inside office and plant designated area.
* Frequent typing
