Job Title : Licensed Practical Nurse
Locations : Lima, OH 45801
Duration : 1 year to long term
Shift: - 6:00 AM- 7:50 PM (40 hours per week)
Job Description:
Administers nursing care within scope of practice under direction of licensed providers (RN, physician, etc.).
Administers medications (controlled and non-controlled) via approved routes and provides medication instructions.
Performs clinical procedures (oxygen therapy, wound care, catheterization, suctioning, specimen collection, dialysis support).
Assists with examinations, treatments, lab tests, and medical emergencies (first aid, CPR, patient restraint).
Monitors, documents, and reports patient conditions, responses, and behaviors.
Maintains accurate patient, medication, and incident records.
Ensures medication accountability and manages medical supplies and equipment.
Provides direct patient care (vital signs, hygiene, mobility, daily living activities).
Supports patient activities, appointments, alarms, and therapeutic/recreational programs.
Guides and trains lower-level direct care staff.
Participates in meetings, training sessions, and interdisciplinary teams.
Orders medications and supplies; maintains cleanliness of medication areas.
Performs basic clerical duties (answering phones, filing.
