SWCA is seeking enthusiastic Civil or Environmental Engineering Co-ops (HR Title: Intern - Engineering) to join our Summer 2026 teams in Cincinnati or Pittsburgh. This role offers a dynamic mix of office and field experience, giving you the chance to collaborate with talented, multi-disciplinary engineering professionals.

As an Engineering Co-op, you will apply your passion for civil or environmental engineering in real-world projects, while building critical skills in communication, problem-solving, and teamwork. We are looking for students with a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, flexibility, and strong collaboration skills. This co-op is not just a summer job - it's your gateway to a thriving career in consulting, guided by leaders committed to your professional growth.

Your summer will be filled with exciting challenges and hands-on projects, running from early May (if possible) through mid-to-late August 2026. Students who are available to start early or extend beyond the standard end date are welcome to contribute even more to our projects. In addition to technical experience, the program includes regular presentations from SWCA leaders, providing insight into our company culture and the broader environmental consulting industry.

This is a paid, 40-hour/week co-op with a competitive rate of $24/hour. Join us for a meaningful, immersive experience where you will gain practical skills, professional connections, and a deeper understanding of environmental consulting.

Please submit a cover letter to be considered for this position.
