Position Overview
The Regional Manufacturing Controller is responsible for the financial integrity, controls, and reporting of manufacturing operations across assigned sites. This role leads the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensures compliance with internal controls and corporate accounting policies, partners closely with plant leadership, and provides actionable financial insights to drive operational performance.
Job Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
The position serves as the primary financial liaison manufacturing sites (6), regional leadership, and corporate finance, ensuring accurate costing, accruals, and financial governance across the region.
Reporting / Accounting
Prepare and review monthly financial packages, variance analyses, and site performance summaries as-needed.
Prepare and record monthly accounting entries and conduct all required reconciliations to ensure closing process meets company deadlines with accurate information.
Prepare and submit annual plant operating budgets and forecasts with site managers.
Partner with Regional Manufacturing Director and Site Leaders to interpret financial results, metrics and assist with developing operational improvement.
Analysis
Partner with operations to analyze production performance, cost drivers, and efficiency trends.
Perform ad hoc variance analysis to find opportunities and possibilities for improvement in financial and operational performance.
Validate Productivity Projects and ongoing results in Wave.
Review and monitor capital expenditures, ensuring proper classification, tracking, and capitalization.
Controls
Provide guidance and training as needed to site personnel on internal controls, close requirements, accounting policies, and financial best practices.
Interface with Internal/External Audit and Divisional Finance for Internal Control compliance and financial audits as needed.
Schedule and conduct audits of fixed assets, physical inventories, and internal control procedures.

5+ years of relevant experience
Strong knowledge and use of Excel.
Strong management of change skills and experience
