• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience. • A minimum of five years’ work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization planning and supervising activities based on the developmental needs of high school students. • Demonstrated ability in working with Boards and Community Groups. • Demonstrated ability in recruitment and retention of teens. • Strong, professional communication skills, both verbal and written. • Ability to recruit, train, supervise, and motivate teens. • Ability to deal effectively with members discipline problems as well as caregivers. • Working knowledge of budget preparation, control, and management. • Ability to assist in fundraising events and compliance issues related to grant administration. • Strong organizational/time management skills with the ability to work unsupervised and to be a selfmotivated problem-solver. • Must be able to drive and have access to a personal vehicle. • Must be available to work evening hours and travel out of town for training and other events, as necessary.
