Activities Aide
Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Wheeling, WV
Work hours 10:30 am - 7:00pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the transportation of residents to and from activities.
- Lead various activities as outlined by the Director.
- Offer activities to residents such as: Reading the newspaper, magazines, novel books or offering to take the residents for wheelchair rides or walks. Provide tactile stimulation, assist in writing letters, read mail, playing music or Bible tapes or just being a good listener.
- Deliver mail, packages, monthly newsletters, and flowers.
- Competitive wages (starting at $16/hour)
- Flexible scheduling.
- $1.20 shift differential for afternoon and evening and all weekend shifts.
