Job Description
The Art Teacher at Kids Creative Center LLC is responsible for delivering creative and engaging visual arts instruction to Ukrainian children in an after-school program environment. The role emphasizes both general art education and the integration of Ukrainian cultural heritage through visual expression. Responsibilities include: Designing and teaching art projects that incorporate traditional Ukrainian themes such as Petrykivka painting, Ukrainian folk motifs, pysanky (decorated eggs), and other ethnic techniques. Introducing students to a variety of mediums including drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, and crafts. Encouraging students to explore their Ukrainian identity and heritage through artistic expression.Preparing students to present their work at community art showcases and Ukrainian cultural events. Creating an inclusive, encouraging classroom environment that supports creativity and cultural pride. Collaborating with other staff members to integrate art with dance, music, and language programs focused on Ukrainian culture.
