REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be available the entire work period of 03/30/2026-12/03/2026. Must agree to work Mon-Fri, 7 hours per day, Sat, 7 hours. Employer will provide transportation from employer provided living quarters to work site every day. Must read, and agree to, all terms and conditions of employment prior to a referral to the employer.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have at least 0 months of verifiable experience in all job duties. This job requires exposure to extreme temperatures, ability to lift 0 lbs., repetitive movements, extensive walking, frequent stooping, extensive pushing and pulling, drug screen, criminal background check.

 JOB DUTIES: Handling manual tasks associated with commodity production and harvest activities.
Skill Level 1 Crop: flowering plants, flowers, annuals, perennials, ornamentals, pumpkins, seeds, shrubs, woody ornamentals Perform manual and mechanized tasks associated with the outdoor production of greenhouse and other horticultural products. Plant, cultivate, and maintain, shrubs,, plugs, liners, and other horticultural varieties. Prepare fields/soil for planting. Operate farm equipment such as tractors and implements. Plant/pot seedlings or ‘liners’ by hand or mechanical planter. Propagate plants from cuttings. Plant/pot seedlings, fill and label trays, move products to/from greenhouses and/or loading/unloading areas. Clean/maintain work area. Bunching and creating mixed bouquets with harvested flowers. Considerable stooping and kneeling is required. Care must be taken to prevent damaging produce and plants. May operate hand-operated equipment. May assist with general farm building maintenance and greenhouse preparation. Employees will receive instruction from supervisors, and will be required to maintain standards of quality, speed and efficiency, as well as respectfully follow directions. Must harvest crops according to predetermined customer specific count, quality and bunch size, and follow good agricultural practices. Workers must follow all food safety standards. Workers must be able to distinguish horticultural plants from weeds. Perform general plant maintenance. Irrigate and apply fertilizer or other chemicals. Train, prune, trim, and perform other general plant maintenance. Water or irrigate plants, and apply fertilizer or other chemicals. Maintain irrigation systems. Tie/position plants by tying or wrapping as necessary. Wrap plants with burlap and other coverings as necessary. Count, inventory, and grade plants and trees. Bunch, pack, label, tag, pull, sort, and store plants by variety. Load trucks for delivery of product. Clean/maintain work area. Apply pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and other crop protectants. Apply fertilizers, plant growth chemicals, conditioners, and other plant related treatments at the correct times depending on plant type, growth, climate and crop conditions. Workers must operate all equipment properly and in a manner that protects operators, others, the employer’s products and property. Failure to comply with safety requirements and operating instructions may result in disciplinary action up to and including immediate termination. Mow, cut, and weed fields. Perform shoveling, hoeing, hauling, ground preparation, and other manual tasks. Bending, stooping and kneeling required. Use hand tools including but not limited to hoes, shovels, shears, clippers, loppers, and saws. Lift, carry, and load/unload products or supplies. Assist with farm building/field maintenance and repairs. Repair fences. Must wear assigned personal protective equipment, provided by the employer, when required. Must report for work daily wearing work clothing and boots or another durable footwear. Workers wearing inappropriate clothing for work will not be permitted to start work. Staggered Start Dates - The employer will be staggering start dates based upon the seasonal need of the crop. Below are the dates and # of workers; start date is on or around the dates based upon the need of the crop. Start Date: 03/30/2026 - 4 workers / Start Date: 06/15/2026 - 4 workers

EMPLOYER ASSURANCES:

BOARD ARRANGEMENTS: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities so workers are able to prepare their own meals. The employer will provide transportation to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries.

HOUSING: Employer-provided housing is available for all workers who live outside a reasonable daily driving distance.

TRANSPORTATION TO WORK SITE: The employer will provide transportation for all workers living in the employer-provided housing to and from the daily work site(s).

WORKERS COMPENSATION INSURANCEProvided.

TOOLS, SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT: Tools, supplies, and equipment needed to complete the job will be provided by the employer at no cost to the worker.
