The First Financial Bank Client First Center Advocate Co-op program provides college students the opportunity to gain professional experience engaging with clients through phone calls. Client First Center employees are to represent First Financial Bank well by presenting a positive, professional image while meeting or exceeding client expectations. Offering flexible full-time summer work schedule, flexible part-time work schedule during the school year, and an opportunity for full-time banking career path at graduation. Students must have reliable transportation to travel. Generally, eight hours will be worked for full-time Co-ops between a window of 8 AM and 6 PM. First Financial invests in the development of our associates. Hands on mentoring from managers and exposure to others in the organization will help prepare students for future careers at the Bank.less than br>

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

* Answer customer inquiries relating to bank products and services. Inquires may be received via telephone delivered through call routing technology.
* Remain current on products, services, policies and procedures
* Resolve customer inquiries or issues with respect to any loan product offered by First Financial Bank
* Resolve customer issues through account research and utilization of support materials and resources
* Perform customer account transaction and maintenance activities accurately
* Strive for first contact resolution of customer inquiries, transactions and problem resolution
* Escalate customer requests requiring additional knowledge or expertise as defined by department leadership
* Complete required online compliance courses
* Model the way for peers and coworkers aligned with First Financials Mission and Values
* Adhere to all compliance and regulatory procedures

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed to Perform Essential Functions of the Job

* Currently enrolled in a two or four year undergraduate degree program
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrated ability in providing excellent customer service
* Meet minimum performance standards, and complete work assignments.
* Maintain availability during normal/designated business hours
* Adherence to the Bank's data privacy, security, and confidentiality policies.
* Ability to work in a team environment
* Ability to multi-task and be flexible in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to demonstrate initiative

Compliance Statement

The associate is responsible for meeting all compliance requirements imposed on First Financial Bank by State and Federal law and regulation, as well as all related First Financial Bank policies and procedures. This includes all Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, OFAC and Suspicious Activity reporting requirements, as well as all other lending and deposit compliance requirements.
