Dietary Aide

Performs a variety of dietary duties pertaining to the daily operation of the dietary department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pulling food trucks which weigh approximately 400-500lbs.
- Working 1 of 4 different positions in the dish room – 2 times per shift.
- Understanding the daily menus and setting up residents diet trays accurately.
- Delivering nourishments and evening snacks to all sections of the nursing home.
- Restocking juice cart daily for morning shift.
- Performs any other duties as directed by the Dietary Manager or Evening Supervisor.
- Adheres to all sanitation and health standards at Good Shepherd Nursing Home LC.
- Must be able to place diet cards in order and be able to set them up for next meal.
- Dresses in a clean manner and uses proper hygiene.
Experience/Education
- High school graduate, high school student or equivalence of a G.E.D.
