Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
PMO Strategy & Governance

Establish and maintain project management standards, methodologies, tools, and templates


* Develop governance processes for project intake, prioritization, approval, and reporting
* Ensure alignment of project portfolios with organizational strategy and business goals
* Serve as escalation point for project risks, issues, and resource conflicts
Portfolio & Performance Management


* Oversee enterprise project portfolio, ensuring visibility into timelines, budgets, and outcomes
* Develop dashboards and reporting for executives on project health, KPIs, and ROI
* Track resource utilization and capacity planning across project teams
* Conduct post-project reviews to drive continuous improvement
Project Leadership & Support


* Mentor and support project managers and cross-functional teams
* Provide coaching on best practices in project planning, execution, and risk management
* Facilitate stakeholder communication and executive updates
* Assist in resolving project roadblocks and interdepartmental dependencies
Process Improvement


* Identify opportunities to improve project efficiency and delivery performance
* Lead change management efforts tied to new systems, processes, or business initiatives
* Implement project management tools and software solutions
Stakeholder Engagement


* Partner with executives and department leaders to define project priorities
* Communicate project progress, risks, and successes across the organization
* Build strong relationships that promote accountability and collaboration
The primary duties and tasks that an employee is expected to perform in a specific role. Requirements:
Education & Experience


* Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field (Master's preferred)
* 7+ years of project management experience, including PMO leadership or portfolio oversight
* Experience building or scaling a PMO function preferred
Certifications


* PMP or other project management certifications strongly preferred
Skills and Competencies:


* Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
* Strategic thinking with a data-driven mindset
* Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana, or similar)
* Financial and business acumen related to budgeting and ROI analysis
