Duration: 12+ months (possible extension)
Shift Hours/week: 40 (8am-5pm)
Pay Rate: $40.00/hr on W2
Must Have:
Must Have Independent Mental Health Licensure - Must hold LISW, LPCC or IMFT.
CPR certification.
Bachelor’s Degree.
Position Summary:
The Behavioral Health Provider operates under the general supervision of the facility behavioral health services (BHS) supervisor. In this full-time contract role, you will provide group treatment and one-on-one individual sessions to assigned youth. You will provide documentation of clinical services provided and provide clinical summaries and updates to the facility behavioral health supervisor for youth's treatment team. Your work will contribute to positive outcomes and youth well-being within this unique context.
Role & Responsibilities:
Provide group treatment for youth with court orders or clinically assessed need.
Provide individual, one-on-one therapy sessions for assigned youth on the mental health caseload.
Provide clinical summaries and reports of youth progress or barriers to progress.
Ensure meticulous completion of all necessary documentation.
Collaborate closely with BHS to facilitate seamless service delivery.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience in providing group and individual therapy to adolescents. Preference for those clinicians with experience working with adolescents who are justice-system involved.
AND one of the following independent licenses.
Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) by Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board.
Or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) by Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board.
Or Licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist (IMFT) by the Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board.
Unusual Working Conditions:
May be exposed to clients who may be potentially violent; may be exposed to unusual noise, odors, or contagious diseases.
