Celina Aluminum Precision Technology Inc. (CAPT) is a major supplier of aluminum engine and frame components to Honda of America. We are currently seeking a qualified Equipment Service Technician to join our Team.
Job Responsibilities
- Respond to equipment emergency downtime, troubleshoot for the root cause of the failure, and repair as needed
- Support projects to ensure the success of new model and business plan strategies to improve department characteristics
- Complete assigned work orders when not responding to emergency downtime
- Support scheduled maintenance activity during plant shutdowns
- Daily reporting and tracking of activities
- Support production team to achieve daily targets
- Complete preventative and planned maintenance per plan
- Maintain daily communications and reporting to ensure accurate transfer of information utilizing and accurately documenting activity in EAM to capture labor time, resources applied (parts), conditions identified, and details of tasks performed
- Develop capability of self and team by mentoring, training, and sharing of experience to ensure technical skill set growth
- Complete scheduled work and training that is assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- Two year technical degree or a minimum of two - three years of relevant work experience..
- Availability to work 2nd or 3rd shift. Must also have flexibility to work some weekend, holidays, overtime.
- Multi-craft technical skills: Electrical, mechanical, automation, programmable logic controller logic, robotics, computer numerical control, hydraulics, pneumatics, and general maintenance
- Ability to read and understand various technical drawings & blueprints
- Experience with Motoman, Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley robots is a plus
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft products
- Strong direction and drive
- Must be physically able to lift, push pull up to 50lbs
