Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our innovative team within a dynamic manufacturing facility. Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, including plastics injection molding, CNC machining, and assembly line workflows.
- Utilize CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, and AutoCAD for designing tooling, fixtures, and process layouts.
- Program and troubleshoot robotics and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to automate production lines.
- Conduct root cause analysis on production issues to identify solutions that improve quality and efficiency.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies across manufacturing operations.
- Create detailed schematics, process flow diagrams, and technical documentation for industrial equipment and systems.
- Oversee fabrication, tooling design, and mechanical assembly tasks to ensure precision and adherence to specifications.
- Lead projects involving vision inspection systems, welding automation, and industrial equipment upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards through process validation and quality assurance measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project scheduling, process engineering, and factory layout planning.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in manufacturing environment with hands-on knowledge of plastics injection molding, CNC programming (including CAM), robotics, and industrial equipment maintenance.
- Strong familiarity with CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD; experience with GD&T is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability in project scheduling, root cause analysis, process engineering, and continuous improvement methodologies like Lean Manufacturing.
- Knowledge of factory safety standards and experience working within ISO 9001 certified facilities.
- Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication, tooling design, welding processes, and assembly line operations.
- Experience with vision inspection systems and automation tools used in modern manufacturing settings.
