Case Western Reserve University seeks a(n) Graduate Student Services Manager in Cleveland, OH.
Duties: Manages, administers, and coordinates the Department's graduate degree programs, and develops and implements activities that improve recruitment and enhances student retention and success. Provides ongoing non-faculty advising support in conjunction with faculty advisors throughout students’ academic career. Mediates between students and the appropriate university offices concerning issues related to tuition, financial aid, and course registration. Serves as a resource to students to resolve these issues timely without placing a burden on the
student or faculty. Works closely with advisors to keep up-to-date on academic progress, and any other developments important to student overall well-being. Serves as key contact and facilitator of procedures and systems for the program. Assists with developing policies and procedures, with guidance from the department chair and Graduate Studies Director, to develop and modify the program curriculum. Develops and maintains all student handbooks for each degree. Administers websites for housing course materials, including qualifying exams, curriculum, program guidelines and information. Develops recruiting and marketing strategies, campaigns, and materials for educational programs in collaboration with University Marketing And Communications. Conducts marketing research to identify trends in educational programs in related subject areas. Determines availability and qualifications of students for Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) assignments. Manages enrollment verification, prepare memo of assistance, payroll forms and student employment forms. Collects data to assemble and maintain a database of current and previous graduate students in order to support the development of graduate training grants, reports to external agencies, and ongoing monitoring of the program. Hybrid – 3 Days In-Office, 2 Days Remote – Must be able to report to local office.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Management Science, Information Management and Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field and one (1) year of experience as a Business Analyst, or related role.
One (1) year of experience with: Tracking and logging student employment hours in People Soft Human Capital Management System; Extracting and managing data visualizations using Tableau; Tracking student enrollment and student outcomes using Student Information System (SIS)Creating and managing databases using SQL; Using business analytics to recommend policy and procedure changes to internal stakeholders; and Data analysis, mathematics, statistics, Excel, Pivot Tables, Tableau, and Google Workspace.
