Job Summary
This position involves operating a company‑provided tractor and trailer to deliver palletized products to customer locations on local routes. The role requires safe driving practices, compliance with state and federal regulations, customer interaction during deliveries, and the use of electronic logging and proof‑of‑delivery systems. Routes are local in nature, typically involving multiple stops per day and returning to the home location daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a tractor and trailer to deliver products to customer locations
- Complete required pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections
- Load, unload, and place palletized product at customer sites using a lift gate and pallet jack
- Utilize electronic logging devices (ELD) and mobile applications to log hours and deliveries
- Ensure all deliveries are accurate, complete, and free from damage
- Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries
- Follow all applicable DOT, OSHA, and company safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with operations staff regarding delivery issues or customer concerns
- Use material‑handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks as required
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Current DOT Medical Card
- 3–5 years of experience operating a tractor‑trailer
- Box truck driving experience
- Safe driving record
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Basic computer and mobile device proficiency
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
- Ability to sit and drive for extended periods (up to an average of 10 hours per day)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly without assistance
- Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
Work Environment
- Combination of driving, customer delivery locations, and warehouse environments
- Moderate to noisy conditions may be present

Compensation
- $24–$25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
