Job Summary
The Warehouse Operator is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including assembling materials for customer orders, receiving and processing incoming and returned products, and maintaining safety, quality, and cleanliness standards. This role requires safe operation of material‑handling equipment, attention to inventory accuracy, and the ability to work collaboratively to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material‑handling equipment to move, load, unload, and store materials
- Transport outgoing products to loading docks using hand trucks, forklifts, or approved equipment
- Receive, sort, and place incoming materials in designated warehouse locations
- Record materials shipped and received using internal inventory systems
- Document customer returns according to established procedures
- Label and mark inventory using internal inventory codes
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization
- Open containers, crates, or bales as needed to sort and maintain stock
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness through sweeping, mopping, and routine maintenance
- Follow all safety procedures, including the use of required personal protective equipment
- Verify product quantity and quality prior to delivery
- Keep warehouse areas accessible and safe for staff and visitors
- Assist with last‑minute or unscheduled deliveries when required
- Report product, safety, or operational concerns to supervisory staff
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Forklift certification
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Basic computer skills preferred but not required
- Warehouse experience preferred but not required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods as a primary job function
- Ability to walk distances of up to 100 yards repeatedly
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Ability to safely operate material‑handling equipment
- Compliance with established safety guidelines and use of required protective equipment
Work Environment
- Warehouse and loading dock settings
- Moderate to noisy conditions may be present

Compensation
- Starting pay: $19.50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
