Job Description

What you will do:

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of mechanical and utility systems at the Qnity Dayton IAAS site. This position performs handson preventive and corrective maintenance on chillers, steam systems, air compressors, pumps, and supporting infrastructure while partnering with Operations, Construction, and Commissioning teams.

**This role includes oncall responsibilities and may require working varying shifts, including weekends. **

How you will do it:

Maintain and troubleshoot chiller systems (Resin, Buckeye, Comfort, Plant), including pumps, glycol systems, valves, heat exchangers, and refrigerant circuits
Support steam system operations, inspections, leak repairs, outages, and new piping ties
Maintain and repair air compressors, dryers, utility pumps, and related systems
Support construction, outages, utility tieins, and commissioning activities
Assist with BAS/BMS monitoring, alarms, and point checks (including BACnetintegrated systems)
Follow all safety, compliance, and permittowork procedures (LOTO, hot work, confined space)
Document maintenance activities and collaboration with technicians, contractors, and client teams

What we look for:

3-5+ years of experience in HVAC, mechanical systems, or industrial/utility maintenance
Working knowledge of chillers, steam systems, pumps, piping, valves, and controls
Ability to read mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and equipment documentation
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
EPA Section 608 Certification (Type II or Universal)

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $26.06 - 35.79 Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
