REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be available the entire work period of 04/10/2026-10/25/2026. Must agree to work Mon-Fri, 6 hours per day, Sat, 6 hours. Employer will provide transportation from employer provided living quarters to work site every day. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have at least 2 months of verifiable experience in all job duties. This job requires exposure to extreme temperatures, ability to lift 70 lbs., repetitive movements, extensive walking, frequent stooping, extensive pushing and pulling, drug screen, criminal background check.
JOB DUTIES: Handling manual tasks associated with commodity production and harvest activities.
Cultivate and harvest cabbage, peppers, pickles, squash and pumpkins. Field care tie plants, stake plants, prune plants, laying plastic, pulling plastic, pulling drip tape, stacking and loading hay and straw, clean drip emitters and microjets, remove plastic drip lines, remove dead plants, and weed removal. Workers will walk along rows as specified by employer and remove weeds and grass from fields by hand or using a hoe. Prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and reaching. Must be able to operate motorized farm equipment. During field operations workers may be required to drive a tractor pulling a wagon through the field or between fields incidental to the harvesting jobs being performed. Workers will be instructed in the safety and operation of the tractor before driving. Job is outdoors and continues in all types of weather. Workers may be requested to submit to random drug or alcohol tests at no cost to the worker. Failure to comply with the request or testing positive may result in immediate termination. Must be able to lift 70lbs. to shoulder height repetitively throughout the workday and able to lift and carry 70lbs. in field. Use of personal cell phone or other personal electronic device during working hours strictly prohibited except for work-related calls or emergencies and violation may result in immediate termination.
Cultiva y cosecha coles, pimientos, pepinillos, zapallos y calabazas. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES:
BOARD ARRANGEMENTS: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities so workers are able to prepare their own meals. The employer will provide transportation to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries.
HOUSING: Employer-provided housing is available for all workers who live outside a reasonable daily driving distance.
TRANSPORTATION TO WORK SITE: The employer will provide transportation for all workers living in the employer-provided housing to and from the daily work site(s).
WORKERS COMPENSATION INSURANCE: Provided.
TOOLS, SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT: Tools, supplies, and equipment needed to complete the job will be provided by the employer at no cost to the worker.
