Support technology development and lead integration of ADAS hardware components/systems (to include but not limited to: monocular and multiview cameras, milliwave and blind spot radar, parking sensors, SRS unit/sensors, and information management gateway) while also possessing the knowledge and leadership skills to coach junior designers and lead cross functional / organizational discussions. Coordinate/perform a full range of design/development activities relevant to departmental and organizational needs while correlating with 4MOC/SDM counterparts, international engineering teams as well as external vendors and customers all while assuming PIC responsibility for assigned parts within a development project(s).
Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Automotive Engineering; 5 years of relevant professional experience; 5 years of experience with automotive component packaging and design; 5 years of experience with CATIA V5 Software creating and modifying 3D & 2D data; 5 years of experience creating part design with sheet metal manufacturability; 5 years of experience creating part design with injection mold manufacturability; 5 years of experience with CATIA Assisted Engineering FEA simulation analysis; and 1 year of experience with 3DX Software creating and modifying 3D data with 3D annotation.
