Job Description

Position: Site Engineer

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Salary: $140,000/year

Advantage Technical is hiring on behalf of our client, a leading waste and recycling company, for a Site Engineer to support day-shift operations in Cincinnati, OH. As a Site Engineer, you'll serve as the technical backbone for assigned facilities, providing environmental and engineering support across permitting, compliance, construction, and regulatory coordination. You'll develop deep knowledge of each site's physical layout, permits, and capacity while acting as a technical liaison with regulatory agencies and consultants.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and support environmental permits (air, groundwater, surface water, solid waste)

Coordinate compliance inspections, reporting, and corrective actions

Track facility capacity and advise site leadership on engineering and environmental matters

Prepare RFPs, evaluate bids, and manage technical projects from planning through certification

Develop and maintain five-year facility schedules and annual project budgets

Ensure accurate, on-time environmental submittals with zero administrative violations

What You Bring

Strong working knowledge of environmental compliance and engineering principles

Proficiency in Microsoft O365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Excellent communication, organization, and judgment

Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate cross-functionally

Valid driver's license and ability to meet driving requirements
