JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


Coach and mentor other Commercial Review Appraisers in their responsibilities and in gaining additional knowledge
Complete valuation reviews and prepare cogent, concise written assessments addressing compliance to Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and PRK's collateral criteria
Compile and analyze reports concerning economic market trends and commercial real estate statistics in all affiliate markets
Prepare evaluations, validations and market data reports for specific properties
Maintain an understanding of Federal Appraisal Guidelines and obtain interpretation from federal regulators when necessary
Serve as a subject matter expert on Appraisal Regulations and PRK's Commercial Real Estate Valuation Policy for commercial lenders, handling the most complex appraisal reviews
Communicate with commercial appraisers, vendors, etc. regarding report deficiencies and assure appropriate corrections are made
In conjunction with the CRE Valuation Services Manager, oversee the valuation review process throughout PRK including providing ongoing training of other reviewers, periodic review of their reports, development of review templates, etc.
Respond to outside regulator (OCC) audit requests with regard to commercial lending and valuation practices
Represent PRK through contact with business and trade professionals
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive and execute projects supporting strategic initiatives
Maintain awareness of and adherence to Bank's compliance requirements and risk management concepts, expectations, policies and procedures and apply them to daily tasks
Deliver a consistent, high level of service within our Serving More standards

SCHEDULE

Typical office hours are Monday-Friday 8a-5p. This position is exempt and full-time. A minimum 40 hours is required per week.

This position is fully remote.

EDUCATION - CERTIFICATIONS - WORK EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting required

MAI designation required or equivalent.

10+ years experience as an appraiser, commercial lender, credit analyst, auditor, or position within the accounting or banking field required

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Travel may be required within Park National Bank footprint

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position must be able to remain in a stationary position a minimum of 75% of the time, constantly operate a computer, and be able to be in constant communication with customers and coworkers to discuss and observe account information in order to exchange accurate information.
