An Entry-Level Design Engineer job is currently available at Belcan in Cincinnati, OH. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline. In this job, you will support design for tooling for building aircraft engines.
Job Duties:
*Support equipment design and development
*Design, including concept sketches and layouts
*Preparation of specifications and design calculations
*Reviewing and checking designs, drawings and data by subordinate engineers, designers, and vendors
*Reviews design documents of equipment manufacturers or subcontractors.
*Presenting engineering design review presentations
Required:
*BS or MS degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline
*Skilled with Microsoft Office tools and possess some knowledge of modeling and analysis using one or more tools
*Knowledge of industry standard practices and project organization; task supervision by
*design/drafting personnel.
*Experience with stress analysis, technical writing, and manufacturing process
*Self-motivated, adaptable, highly organized and possess excellent communication abilities
*Legal authorization to work in the US required and has or able to get security clearance
Preferred:
*Experience with NX or other modeling software
*Experience with ANSYS
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $58,240 to $66,560 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
