Volt is immediately hiring for Machine Operator in West Chester, OH

As a Machine Operator, you will:


* Move loose or bundled pipe within the shop and yard.
* Assemble pipe orders (single sticks or bundles) and maintain organized work supplies.
* Follow safety precautions for fabricating, cutting, assembling, stacking, and shipping pipe.
* Operate powered industrial equipment per OSHA guidelines and procedures.
* Set up and maintain machines for pipe fabrication.
* Measure, record, and add random pipe lengths accurately.
* Measure and cut pipe using band saws or torches.
* Thread and bevel pipe using Landis machines.
* Inspect and maintain forklift equipment.

This is a full-time, contract opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:


* 1-year recent Machine Operation background

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:


* 1-year experience with machinery such as pipe threaders, band saws, roll groove machines, plasma cutting, automatic welding machines, and pneumatic banders.
* Experience in fire sprinkler pipe fabrication.

Pay Rate: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
