Essential Functions:
The Field Supervisor is responsible for leading one or more crews (of typically 3-5 people) at a
jobsite. These crews consist of Technicians, Operators, and/or Crew Leaders. The Field Supervisor
may act as a "working Supervisor", and on single-crew jobs, is the primary representative of the
Company with that customer.
Qualifications:
1. Must have a minimum of 3 years Supervisory experience.
2. Physically capable of: routinely lifting 65 pounds, working in confined spaces using a full-face
respirator (occasionally with bottled/ supplied air), working at heights of up to 150 feet,
wearing required protective clothing, and repetitively bending, squatting, and kneeling.
3. Excellent leadership, communication, and troubleshooting skills with the ability to oversee
multiple jobs at one jobsite.
4. Familiarity with all laws, policies, and practices relating to safe working conditions, especially
relating to job-specific safety equipment and PPE requirements.
5. Available to work Sunday through Saturday as needed.
Areas of Responsibility:
1. Promotes safety as the number one priority, and quality as the number two priority on the
job.
2. Prepares company equipment for scheduled jobs with the help of assigned personnel and
checks Load Out Sheet to ensure all necessary equipment is available at the jobsite.
3. Conducts "Toolbox Safety Meetings" with crew prior to job start, including JSA review.
4. Assigns tasks to ensure timely job completion, which should include "hands-on" participation
as needed.
5. Directs the activities of assigned personnel, leads by example, holds assigned crew
accountable for their responsibilities, and continually ensures a professional and respectful
environment.
6. Fosters a "team approach" atmosphere; always displays a positive, respectful, and
professional attitude; contributes to the "continuous improvement" philosophy; accepts other
duties as deemed necessary.
7. Rotates assignments at the jobsite to minimize fatigue and maximize cross-training.
8. Provides on the job training opportunities that allow employees to improve their skillsets.
9. Continuously checks for the proper utilization of PPE and the operating performance of all
safety related equipment such as air monitors, supplied air, etc. Immediately reports
incidents/ accidents to the Safety Department.
