Direct Support Professional

Looking for a new Homemaker/Personal Care agency to call home for the long term?

Legacy Caregivers is hiring DSP's to provide Direct Care services in both congregate home settings and on an individual basis. We have a multitude of client profiles to serve. Looking for a well-rounded and versatile caregiver to serve one or all of the following categories:

• Total Care (Bathing, toileting, lifting, changing)
• High Functioning, Mild Behaviors
• Intense Behavioral Needs

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Direct Support Professionals are the lifeblood of our agency. To be a Legacy DSP means exuding the highest level of professionalism and compassion as you interact and meet the needs of the clients we serve.

Duties can include:

• General supervision of clients
• Taking clients in community to run errands or for leisure
• Cooking and cleaning
• Behavior redirection and emotional regulation
• Bathing, toileting, and changing clients
• Helping clients work towards pre-determined goals and outcomes
• Documentation of care services
• Medication administration

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Wage:  $14-$16/hr | O/T Available
