Job Description

The Purchasing Specialist is integral to supporting our business growth and innovation focus. The individual should have a strong background as a Purchasing Specialist in the Manufacturing industry.

At Transglobal Door, we live our Purpose, Values, and Principles in everything we do. The Purchasing Procurement-Sourcing Specialist’s responsibilities will include ensuring that the company's materials and products meet all specifications, identifying replenishment requirements and order fulfillment completion, inventory control/parts management, meeting with vendors to negotiate the best contracts, being the liaison between the delivery and warehouse teams to ensure goods are received on time.

Requirements:

  • Understanding manufacturing processes
  • Strong computer and Microsoft Excel skills
  • Microsoft Dynamics GP (preferred)
  • Proven experience as a Purchasing agent or relevant role
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiating prices, terms and conditions
  • Understand quality requirements
  • A strong analytical mindset
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills required

Must Have:

  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics GP
