Job Description

Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is searching for an Associate Software Engineer for our Columbus, Ohio location.

Responsibilities

Accountable for creating, maintaining, and enhancing software solutions that provide operational stability and seamless business continuity.
Responsible for delivering high-quality, innovative solutions that provide consistent, delightful experiences.
Engages in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept/design to development to delivery and post-launch support.
Collaborates with product partners and business stakeholders to grasp project requirements and translate them into technical specifications for software solutions which align with team strategies, standards, and guardrails.
Performs code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to coding standards, provides constructive feedback to team members.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
1-4 years of experience and proficiency developing software applications using object-oriented programming languages, preferably C#
Experience and proficiency working with relational database systems - including querying, design, implementation, and optimization
Conceptual understanding of DevOps practices and principles, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and collaboration with operations teams to automate and streamline the software development lifecycle
Experience and proficiency with cloud computing, including deploying and managing cloud-based applications, leveraging cloud services, and implementing best practices
Ability to work outside of normal business hours

Additional Information

This is a fully on-site position reporting to the office Monday through Friday.
