Responsible for provision and coordination of vocational training to a caseload of trainees at work center and on the job site.
Job Description:
- Acts as a hands-on trainer and supervisor to trainees and is responsible for their safety at worksites.
- Conducts safety in-services. Resolves safety concerns. Performs safety drills.
- Uses CORE Vehicles to transports clients as needed.
- Uses CORE vehicles to make deliveries as needed.
- Performs janitorial duties in the absence of a client suitable for that job.
- Requisitions and picks up supplies as needed and as approved by the Program director.
- Performs routine maintenance such as cleaning and stocking storage room.
- Participates in scheduled staff meetings.
- Prepares reports on work center productivity.
- Performs drug screens on clients as needed.
- Performs related duties as assigned by Program Director.
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree or High School Diploma with related experience in mental health or job coaching.
- Experience working in mental health field desired.
- Competent in keeping accurate time records and accurate production computations.
- Will be expected to be certified in CPR and first aid within six months of employment.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with verifiable proof of insurability.
- Possesses good observation and problem solving skills.
- Requires some independent decision-making.
- Must be able to take verbal instructions and complete multi-step, complex tasks.
- Must Monitor own time to ensure needed attention to all trainees on case load.
